I have been gone and just got home.  I have not talked to my husband yet, but I can say that if WVU won, he will be in a much better mood that when I left.  lol

4th. Quarter the Pitt team is outplaying the West Virginia Mountaineer football team. The score is 10-7 Pitt. and W. Va. has just turned it over at their own 17 yard line. If Pitt. scores a touchdown this game is over and W. Va. has lost. The only chance is to hold the Pitt. Panthers to a field goal. That would make it a 13-7 Pitt. lead and give W. Va. a slim chance to win, however, W. Va. can not score twice in the time left in the game.


The final score was the Pittsburg Panthers 13 - West Virginia Mountaineers 9, the game ended on a safety by W. Va.

Total dejection and sadness is how I feel. This is a very unhappy time for me and many people in this area as we hoped that the W. Va. football team could play for the National Championship. I suppose we should be thankful to them for showing us a wonderful season of football to watch this season. The Mountaineers are a successful football team and deserve much praise for this years success. They are the winners of the Big East Football Conference and will play in a BCS Bowl game. Come on W. Va. University Mountaineers   , lets go win that Bowl game.

Did you listen to Metro Talkline? They were giving coach Rod down the road. Hoppy said the fans booed the team when they left the field. Sad. Man, they received a bowl bid, what more could you want.
