Something about the Greenbrier is depressing on the outside---like it's locked in the 1930s or 1940s atmosphere.  I haven't stayed there since the renovations.

Me either. I agree with what you say, though, but have always thought it was part of its charm...almost like stepping back into another time.
Have you tried either of the new restaurants they mentioned?

No, I haven't been inside for a couple of years.  I used to go there (clinic part) for medical exams and do some shopping.....

We've been talking about going soon with some friends.  I haven't been there in years, I always loved going.
