We left a couple of weeks ago when it was -8 degrees.   Trying to get away from snow (knowing temperatures would not be great), we were surely surprised to see some snow accumulation on the dunes when we looked out the window.    You haven't seen snow until you see snow at the beach.

Now that is something I haven't seen.  I don't want the COOOOLD Temps.  But JUST one BIG snow.  Then I will be happy for a while.  However, Suzi has to put a damper on everything.

Yeah,  damp,  ya got that right. 
That's cool,   snow on the beach,  you can make snowmen and sandcastles at the same time.  That would be a pretty cool photo.

I saw some very cool pictures on the news last week of snow filled footprints in the sand. Never seen beach snow myself, but I hope you got some good pictures!

i never have a camera when I need one.   Trips to the beach in January are for clean-up, fix-up, getting ready for spring break company.   The snow was just a little side-show----surreal as it was.

We have snow here in the D.C. metro area.  It began last night. Beautiful big flakes. Looks like we have about 7 inches here on the VA side. Reports are that they have quite a bit more across the river in Maryland.

Got 'bout 4 or 5 inches in my neighborhood. At me workplace only 'bout 1/3 showed up. I talked to me boss and told him this is the most snow we had since Feb of 2004. I sez to the boss these southern folks don't get to see a lot of snow and it makes them act like kids and they want to do kid things like build snowmen and ride the sleds. Heck that racsal let us leave early today.

"Kid at heart" - me, too. I always loved snow. Still do as long as I don't have to drive in it. Too much traffic here.
