Bread machine dinner rolls

Add ingredients to bread machine in order listed:

1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup warm water
1 egg
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup margarine
3 3/4 cup sifted all purpose flour
1 1/2 packages of dry active yeast

set bread machine on dough
let run till mixed and first rise
get out and punch down mix another 1/3 cup margarine to dough - shape in balls for whatever size rolls desired - let rise about 45 min.  Bake in oven at 375 for 10 minutes or until done.

You have a bread machine? The last time I made bread from scratch I used a recipe on the yeast package for oatmeal bread. Did it all the old-fashioned way, and the bread was wonderful.  libby

Yes.  Nota got it for me for Christmas, probably 8 years ago.  I love it.  I use it for everything.  I used to make all my bread from scratch but using the bread machine is a lot faster.  You can just set it and go,  come back 2 hours later and you have a nice loaf of hot bread.

I use this roll recipe a lot too.  It's really good.

Which machine do you have. I have thought about one of these machines for a couple of years but have figured I wouldnt use it enough for the expense.

GE 2 lb bread maker.  We use ours alot.  You can take that same recipie and make cinnamon rolls, pepperoni rolls, raisin bread.
