After 54 years you'd think they would give her some credit.  I hope she finds someplace else and told them what to do with their literal interpretation.

I wondered, and didnt get a good feel from the article as to an answer, if this was a new pastor...or what....that would make them come to such a decision after 54 plus years.

Thinking back....all of my Sunday School teachers were women...
