What makes me smile...
« on: April 06, 2010, 10:34:44 AM »
Yesterday evening I was walking on the grounds of the county fitness center where I work out, and noticed a woman with a little boy, who looked to be about two, walking towards me. He looked so innocent and sweet, and was carrying a dandelion in each hand, so I guess I had a smile on my face.  He walked straight up to me, and with a shy smile, handed me one of his 'flowers.'

It sure is nice that the younguns ain't tainted yet. They are so genuine. A good lesson for us grownups.

The funny thing was the way he looked at me - as if he knew me.

That's why Jesus said we should come to him like a child. I'm paraphrasing, it may not have been those exact words, but you know what I mean.

Ahhhhh, reminds me of when I was a child, before the weight of the world crushed my spirit. :tong:

Moondance, doesn't the post above yours also fall into the same category?  :1:

No, I'm not an a$$, I'm not the one who always derails a good thread with nasty remarks.  I leave that to RC, he does just fine without any help from anyone.

This is so sweet.  There is nothing more beautiful than the smile of a child!

Does  painting with a broad brush statement like that also qualify as a smarta** statement? Or do only the ones from RC qualify?
