Jesus Painting in Bridgeport Highschool

The ADF has won court cases that have: ìStopped discrimination against Christian employees; enabled Christian groups to use public facilities on the same terms as other organizations; and preserved historic and Christian acknowledgment in public places.î

So what they are saying then is that they want protection from the same abuses that they have forced upon non-christians over the years.  I worked at an agency that would have organized prayer meetings...they would announce meeting in the conference room, all staff report to the conference room.  You would get tot he conference room only to find out it was for a prayer service.  Of course I was talked about when I left and went back to my office.

If they win this case, I will personally send to the school, as a gift, a portrait of a deity from any other major religion and dare them not to hang it.

I think the majority should rule. I bet the majority of kids/parents are not against this.

I dont. The majority is not always right. In fact, sometimes they are dead wrong. (Not suggesting thats the case here...just speaking generally)

Ever heard the saying, "majority rules"?
I think the majority is usually right. Kind of like, "ask the audience" on who wants to be a millionaire.

Usually, but not always.
Once upon a time, the majority wanted slavery.

That's not a really true statement unless you qualify it by adding a specific time in history, e.g., the mid-1800's.

Slavery existed, was legal, and "popularly supported" by the populations of the English colonies.  The practice of slavery begain in the early-1600's and it wasn't until about the time of the America Revolution that the practice was even questioned by the masses.  By the late-1700's and early-1800's, the states of Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey abolished slavery.

I think it's safe to say that slavery still exists in some places.

Because you say so?  How about citing a real authority to support your arguement?
