Lets discuss dinner
« on: June 09, 2010, 02:21:24 PM »
What goes with lasagna?  I say mashed potatos and  Italian Bread and a tossed salad. However I am told mashed potatos do not go with this dinner. So what does?

I think mashed potatoes go with just about anything! I'll probably have pizza for dinner tonight, but let me tell you about my dinner on Monday, my daughter's birthday, when we went to Uno's Chicago Grill. I had shrimp and steak on skewers, and added roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Delicious!

Never had mashed pototos with Lasagna. Its usually served with salad and garlic bread. But to each his own. My rule of thumb, ya gotta have gravy with mashed potatos.

With lasagna, I like fresh green beans with garlic butter. Or baby peas with pearl onions.

Anybody that doesn't like mashed potatoes is un-American and should leave the country!

I'm trying, I'm trying,  but have you ever noticed that when you have small kids in the house, every dinner includes.........mashed potatoes.   :roflmao: :roflmao:

Yeah ... and typical for RC ... if he doesn't like something, he thinks no one else should be allowed to enjoy it.
