Im with Tony on this one, just some garlic bread and salad.

 Just the normal stuff, hambruger sauce, cheeses, noodles

What goes with lasagna?  I say mashed potatos and  Italian Bread and a tossed salad. However I am told mashed potatos do not go with this dinner. So what does?

C'mon now, get ahold of yourself.

I'm trying, I'm trying,  but have you ever noticed that when you have small kids in the house, every dinner includes.........mashed potatoes.   

 Or chicken!

If the lasagna has a nice meat sauce and layers, then maybe a side of green vegetable could be nice.    If the lasagna has a vegetarian sauce and layers, then maybe a lean meat serving could be nice.   I believe that mashed potatoes and the pasta might be a bit of a "starch" overload.     

Better yet, just the lasagna, salad, trade the bread for dessert could be a good choice.

No, mashed potatoes do not go with Lasagna, a good green salad lots of veggies included and bread work.  You don't want two starches together.
