Did NASCAR put the slapdown on Clint Bowyer or what? From the penthouse to the outhouse.

Heard a little about it on Sportscenter. Sounds kind of fishy to me.

By the way, RCR is really showing some class now arent they. Yesterday was a fine example of that with Harvick leading the way.

What sounds fishy?

Bower said it went through and passed the standard inspection that all the cars go through. It wasn't until they gave it the fine tooth comb treatment that they came up with a violation.

Appeal has failed. RCR has one more appeal left.

All the teams walk a fine line. 1/16th of an inch gets you in trouble nowadays and that's just the way it is. I will say this about RCR he seems to run a clean program and is well respected by his peers down here in nascar country. I think he should use the other appeal. nascar won't change their mind but heck make 'em sweat a little anyhow.

Best regards,
Duke (hope they don't catch me) Jupiter

Best regards,
Duke (maybe Ole' Tony just don't like govment motors) Jupiter

Heck I like Chevys the ole' venerable small block chevy is tuff to beat. Fords are ok 'specially the stangs but Ole' Duke is partial to the Dodge. I like the old iron from the 60 and 70s the best. Ford Chevy and Dodge put out some excitin' products in them days. The new Camaros, Stangs and Challengers ain't bad and the daburn Vette is probably the most performance per $ of any car made.

Best regards,
Duke (still like the American cars and heck I like the European and Asian products as well) Jupiter
ps I guess you could say Ole' Duke is part Motorhead

I'm partial to the old mopars myself. One of the dumbest trades I ever made was when I traded a 72 Cuda for a 68 Impala, cause it had a roomy back seat. Some things are even better than horsepower.  :39:
