I put up an owl box last fall but it was to late in the year for any to move in. Hopefully one will discover it soon.

I have the plans to build one myself. I live right next to a wooded area and I hope they find it.

I have the plans to build one myself. I live right next to a wooded area and I hope they find it.


A couple of tips, put it at least ten feet off the ground, more if you can, and put it somewhere away from where people will be close by. They're quite defensive of their nests.

Still no owls in my box, but no shortage of owls. I suppose they have plenty of good hollow trees to nest in.
