An interesting item on Lucianne.com, about a supposed admission by William (Bill to his friends) Ayres that he actually penned the bestseller "Dreams of my Father" under the pen name Barack Hussein Obama. Don't look for confirmation of this in the NYTimes or on NBC.

The Redneck Manifesto. The guy makes some good observations, and some waay out in left field.

This morning I decided to buy and read Rick Warren's "The Purpose Driven Life." I didn't pay much attention when President Obama honored him, but after hearing him on Meet the Press this morning with David Gregory, I liked him. And coming from me, that says a lot.

How was it. I haven't read any of his for awhile but I always like his books back when I was reading them.

The Shack by Paul Young. It's shaping up to be a very good book.

I might try Stephen King again. I got sort of burned out when he was making a new book every six months or so, but I agree, The Stand was the best.
I'm reading Lights Out by Mark Steyn. It concerns his trial for hate speech in Canada, giving examples of things that can be considered hate speech when someone is overly sensitive. Also, Sarah Palin has an excellent book, in case you haven’t read it already.

I enoy Stephen King.  I prefer his books to his movies.  though both are good. I also like, John Saul, Dean Koontz and Robin Cook.

You want to read a good book, read the Shack. It's the best book I've read in years. Funny thing about that book, you either love it or hate it. Some Christians think it's blasphemous, but I think those folks want to put God in a box and this book doesn't fit their preconceived ideas about God, even though they can't validate their feelings from the scriptures.

I love to read.  I will check it out.  On a Biblical level  I read the Left behind Series and loved it.  But I understood it was fiction.  Many Christians cannot get the concept behind the books and thus consider them bad.  I am very versatile on my readings.
