Me too Gryph! (and roaches! LOL actually one of the only bugs that does bother me) I was burned pretty badly when I was about 5 I think. My mom put hot bacon grease in two orange juice containers, the cylindrical ones, and I wanted to help make the orange juice and pulled them off the counter. Burned the crap out of my forearms. Thanks to the quick thinking of my mother who immediately immersed me in a tub of cool water- not butter! *shakes head*- and made me stay there, I blistered but didn't scar. I was very lucky.

To this day I get freaked out even my curling irons and such and I'm so afraid if my kids are anywhere near something hot. I cannot even imagine really truly being burned.

I used to think my worst fear was suffocation, I still think that is how I will die... but my mother has Alzheimer's,she's in the last "stage" and I also had an aunt on my dad's side who died from that. I now can honestly say that being diagnosed with this horrible disease is my worst fear. If I ever find out I have it I WILL find a way for someone to help me die before I get to where life does not exist for me.

Bugs. BIG spiders. Drowning. Kids being hurt or dying. My husband getting killed or seriously injured (he's an over the road driver; I face it every day). Losing my home. Losing my parents (Dad is 69 this year. Mom is 65. I know my years left with them are limitied). Being possessed by an evil ghost. Forgetting how to cook.
