Philip Lipson and Charlette LeFevre from the Seattle Museum of the Mysteries have given a piece of black rock to University of Washington research engineer Bill Beaty to be tested. They say the rock is from a B-52 which crashed carrying UFO slag.

The rock is their best clue in a mystery they have been pursuing for years. In 1947 a man claimed that a UFO dropped lava and metal on his boat. Three days later a government employee claimed to have seen the craft.

"We have to look at the bedrock in the hill and see what's there. If it looks like that, then it's probably the same. If this is totally different than the bedrock that's there, then this will be very interesting," said Beaty
