Peeing In Your Garden
« on: May 21, 2007, 06:18:07 PM »
Urine is very good for gardens, and it is sterile, therefore does not spread disease.  People who live where they can should save it and pour it around (not on) their plants.  It has a lot of nitrogen.  Hair and fingernails are also good for the soil.  Urine and hair spread around a garden will keep deer out.  It will probably also keep other animals such as dogs away.  I hope that everyone knows that it is not safe to put animal manure around your crops as fertilizer.  That is basically what is making people sick in commercial greens.  Even cattle in a separate field can contaminate your garden via run off.  I can't garden now, but when I did, I had an organic garden using compost.  Well, no, I didn't pee in my garden!

Reminds me of the time we had to put in a new bathroom floor. We told the boys they could go in the wooded area beside our house to pee. Well, they thought that was just the coolest thing ever. They wanted to continue using the woods even after the new bathroom.

Another time, my oldest son and nephew both had to pee at same time while outside playing. I think they were 4 and 5 years of age. Little did they know that they were each standing on opposite sides of the same bush.

I thought that should get all of you all excited!  Couldn't understand why you didn't have anything to say about it.  By the way, Gryphon,  you have to be cagy about this.  You take it outside in a can and pour it in your garden.  You could wait until after dark, even.  Just don't pour it on the plants.  It will kill them.  Pour it around the plants!
