As long as you don't "miss" the can.  :tong:

Well, I did after you told me the neighbors might see me!   You're such a rotten kid!  Won"t let me have any secrets.  I think you are forgetting who is the Mama here!  I might just have to take you down a peg or two in front of all these people!  Telling me who I can talk to.  Telling my age, and even getting it wrong.

Well, I will next time.  I have a garden in my window.  You should see my lettuce!  It grows over the air conditioner.  I am also growing radishes.  I will plant carrots next.  I think I could grow them all winter, since Ii don't like heat in my bedroom.  My son and I had a salad from the lettuce a day or two ago.  I have the fancy kind.

Speaking of gardens: Last weekend my daughter and I went to George Washington's River farm, not far from Mt. Vernon. It's the HQ of the American Horticultural Society - and a wonderful place to get away from traffic and crowds and noise for a while. There are miles of paths winding through flower gardens and trees - and benches everywhere, many with views of the Potomac River.  What a lovely place.  Libby

Sounds beautiful Libby...closest thing to me like that is probably the Biltmore House grounds...and at certain times of the year, they are just breathtaking.

The Biltmore. One of my sisters and I went there on a Christmas tour a few years ago, and it was great. The weather was decent, and we walked around outside a little and wondered what the gardens would be like. Will have to go back in the summer! I love western NC. My father was born in Bakersville (at the base of Roan Mountain). Libby
