Do aquarium fish communicate??
« on: June 30, 2007, 03:18:24 PM »
If whales and dolphins have an underwater language to communicate, then do my aquarium fish also?
It is well known that whales and dolphins communicate with each other by an audible sonar (noise) across great distances in the water. My question is, do my fish in my aquarium have this ability on a smaller scale yet not discovered by humans, or have they not this capacity. And if not, at what point down the fish family does this "communication" cease to exist?

I believe all animals can communicate.  Some may only use sign or body language.
