I saw the movie, "Hairspray". It was a delightful musical comedy that I enjoyed very much. It was filled with history. We saw the styles of the early 60s--- hair, clothes, furniture, etc. The movie taught about the segregation of blacks and whites and the beginning struggle toward civil rights. If you missed living in the 1960s and can't remember those years, it would be worthwhile to see this movie. It is also a movie to take your kids to in order to teach them a little history.
